Nursery

We believe our children are God’s greatest gift! Our nursery provides special care to infants and toddlers while seeking to contribute to his/her well being and complement the Christian nurturing your child experiences at home. We strive to help your child build trusting relationships and feel a sense of belonging.

Our nurseries are available during Sunday morning Bible classes at 9:00 a.m., Sunday morning worship services at 10:15, and during our 6:30 p.m. Bible classes on Wednesdays. Our nurseries serve children from birth to age 3. Children age 3 through Kindergarten may attend Children's Worship.

The Children's Ministry experience starts in the nursery where we seek to provide a safe, Christian atmosphere for the youngest members of our church family.  We hope you will feel free to bring your children to our nurseries which are located on the north hallway of the Education Building.  We hope our loving care for your child will allow you to participate in Bible class and worship without worry.  To make this time go smoothly, we have put together some tips and guidelines below which we hope you will take a moment to read.

Nursery Parent Tips

To help you, your child, and our nursery volunteers to have the best experience possible, please follow these tips.

  • To assist your child in adjusting to his/her surroundings, bring him/her to church on a regular basis.
  • Be sure to label ALL of your child’s belongings clearly. This includes: diaper bag, diapers, bottles, cups, pacifiers, and coats. (Any items not labeled will be labeled by the caregiver.)
  • Please do not bring personal toys from home.
  • Please pick-up your child at the appropriate time.
  • If your child has any allergy, please inform the nursery workers.

Is Your Child Sick Today?

For the protection of your child and the other children, parents are requested not to bring a child who appears to be ill. A child should not be placed in the nursery when any of the following exists:

  • Fever (currently or within previous 24 hours),
  • Vomiting or Diarrhea
  • Significant or persistent nasal drainage which is green or yellow in color
  • Any symptom of a childhood disease, common cold, sore throat,
  • Any unexplained rash or any skin infection
  • Pink eye or other eye infection

If your child develops an infectious disease (chicken pox, etc.) after he/she has been in the nursery, please contact the Children’s Ministry office at 901.761.2007 so we may notify other parents of their child’s exposure.
